Oktoberfest announces carnival bracelet ticket sales Tickets for the Seymour Oktoberfest carnival bracelets will only be sold at Seymour City Hall again this year. Bracelet sales hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 27 and Oct.
2, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 28 and 29 and Oct. 3 and 9 a.m.
to 4 p.m. Oct. 4. No tickets will be available for bracelets after that time. City hall is at 301-309 N.

In August, the Sey- mour agribusinessman officially announced his candidacy for Senate seat up for grabs in 2024. That seat is presently held by Jasper Republican Mike Braun, who plans to run for governor next year. Recent amendments made by the state legis- lature made Rust and a majority of Hoosiers ineligible to run for office in Indiana due to their voting record, he said in a news release about the lawsuit. The lawsuit names Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales, the Indiana Election Com- mission and Jackson County Republican Party Chairwoman Amanda Lowery as defendants. Lowery told The Tribune on Tuesday af- ternoon that as much as she would love to discuss the situation, she was unable to comment on pending legal matters.
